Crater Lake Kale is crunchy and savory, made fresh each week in the summertime with Colorado kale. Kale is one of the healthiest vegetables on earth. Kale is a super-food snack because it has more nutrients than other leafy greens.

We Get Ours From: Colorado.
Flavor Profile: Slightly bitter, earthy.
Type We Use: Green Curly Kale.
Preparation: Each kale leaf is stemmed then mixed with a rich miso cashew purée for flavor and texture.
Kale’s dramatic rise in popularity in recent years can be attributed to its richness in nutrients - vitamins K, C, A, and B6, folate, fiber and manganese. It is the most nutrient-rich leafy green you can eat!
We Get Ours From: Hermosillo, Mexico.
Flavor Profile: Sweet, fruity, grassy notes.
Type We Use: Red Bell Pepper.
Preparation: Each bell pepper is cored, wedged, and then blended into Crater Lake Kale's rich miso cashew purée.
Bell peppers come in a variety of colors, yet each have a slightly distinct taste. They're an excellent source of vitamins A, C, E and B6, as well as fiber and folate.

Flavor Profile: Umami, salty, sweet.
Type We Use: Chickpea Miso.
Preparation: Chickpea miso uses garbanzo beans instead of soy and is blended into Crater Lake Kale's rich miso cashew purée.
Miso is one of the best ways to get probiotics into your body, which are linked to better immunity, better digestion and better moods. The chickpea miso we use is soy free, so customers who are on restricted diets can partake in the many health benefits of eating miso.

Flavor Profile: Mild butter notes.
Type We Use: Brazilian Cashews.
Preparation: Each cashew is shelled, sprouted, crumbled, and puréed into Crater Lake Kale seasoning.
