Did you know that nearly all of our snacks are dehydrated? When we first came up with the concept for Aspen Crunch, we knew we needed to find a way to create a snack with as many nutrients as possible. So when we discovered the dehydrator, it was like a giant lightbulb lit up.
Dehydration is an ancient practice that we rely on to cook fruits and veggies at a low temperature over a long period of time. Low-temperature dehydration keeps nutrients intact and intensifies the natural flavors of strawberries, apples, and pineapples to name a few.
To some snacks, such as our Mountain Munch, we add ingredients like Spanish almonds and Turkish figs.
