Crunchy & Savory Crater Lake Kale
Our Crater Lake Kale is crunchy and savory, made fresh each week with Colorado kale. Completely vegan and protein rich, coated in a delicious seasoning of red bell pepper, cashew, lemon, chickpea miso, apple cider vinegar, garlic, and spirulina, mixed together and dehydrated until crisp and crunchy. Crater Lake Kale makes for a delicious salad topping, sandwich layer, or everyday healthy snacking!

Considered a superfood, kale is one of the healthiest vegetables on earth, with more nutrients than other leafy greens. It’s filled with essential vitamins including vitamin C, A, and K, and contains minerals like copper, potassium, iron, manganese, and phosphorus – a critical mineral used to maintain balance in the body.
Kale, along with the red bell peppers and lemon used as seasoning, have all been shown to have cancer-fighting properties, while lemons have also been proven to help prevent diabetes. Miso, also used in our seasoning, is one of the best ways to get probiotics into your body, which are linked to better immunity, better digestion and better moods. The chickpea miso we use is soy free (as opposed to more traditional soy-based miso), so customers who are on restricted diets can partake in the many health benefits of eating miso. Finally, we add spirulina to the mix for its great health benefits - it reduces cholesterol levels, boosts the immune system and is effective in preventing the growth of cancer.
