Hand-Picked, Unique Ingredients

No ingredient in Aspen Crunch’s snacks is simply “off the shelf”. Instead, each Aspen Crunch ingredient is hand-picked from our global adventures because of its unique flavor and health story.

Our Grizzly Lake Granola is a crowd favorite sweet mix of gluten-free oats and heart-healthy nuts, full of delicious and unique flavor.

Each week we combine Bob's Red Mill gluten-free oats, almonds, pecans, ginger macadamia, toasted coconut flakes, Madagascar vanilla, Crown Maple cinnamon-infused artisan maple syrup, a smidge of brown sugar, and olive oil. This mixture is pan baked to golden-brown perfection and will remind you of those heartwarming moments baking at home. Here are a few of Grizzly Lake Granola’s healthiest and yummiest ingredients, in no particular order 😉

Gluten-Free Rolled Oats

Oats contain more soluble fiber than any other grain. They are great for preventing and treating diabetes and can lower the risk of colon cancer. We use Bob’s Red Mill Rolled Oats which are certified gluten-free and perfect for even the most sensitive snackers.

Research shows that pecans contain the most antioxidants of any nut. An ounce of pecans contain 30% of the recommended daily intake of fat – half monounsaturated and another 30% polyunsaturated.

Almonds contain high levels of monounsaturated fats. Research shows that diets with healthy amounts of monounsaturated fats have a host of amazing benefits including: decreased risk for breast cancer, reduced cholesterol levels, weight loss, and reduced belly fat. Almonds also have the largest concentration of alpha-tocopherol, a form of vitamin E: an antioxidant that prevents free radical damage, out of any nut.

Cinnamon-Infused Grade B. Maple Syrup

Grade B. maple syrup is the most viscous concentration of maple syrup and is harvested at the end of the sap season. Consumption of grade B. maple syrup is said to fortify the body with zinc, which supports the immune system function by contributing to cell growth and maintaining healthy levels of white blood cells.

The Perfect Gift

Grizzly Lake Granola is great for breakfast with yogurt, for energy on-the-go, or for adding extra flavor to your favorite dessert. It also makes for the perfect gift to bring to a friend’s dinner, to leave for your house guests, to help break unhealthy snacking habits, and to give loved ones a special reminder of summer in Aspen!
